Default Anyone need to shoot a pterodactyl!!

I was just now looking up a gunbroker offering in the book, and this gun
#159211 was a few numbers away!! That sucker could reach out and touch sumthin!!

There is a gh 8 ga. with 40" barrels on Julia's next auction.

That's sort of funny to me Mark. I looked what has to be that same Gunbroker offering up yesterday. 159146 caught my eye. How about an A grade 16 ga with 32" tubes. I could make it work.

Here are some photos of a 40" (40.5" actually) NH 8g. built in 1899.

Gun weighs in at around 16.5 lbs. Un-struck weight on barrels was 12.5 lbs.

A 36" 8ga feels balanced compared to this cannon!

thats a really nice 8 ga this is what i want SANTA CLAUSEto bring me for CHRISTMAS...this is one big gun the barrels weight about as much as a whole 8 ga gun....can you imagine setting in a duck blind with this cannon and have a big flock of green heads come over...would have loved to have been in that duck blind....charlie

bill you and me are on the same plane about those 40 inch barrels....my longest barrels on my 8 ga s are 36 inch but they need to be longer....charlie
