Default Straight stock D-grade

Looking for a photo of an original straight stock D-grade, specifically the checkering. Thinking there was no checkering on the cheek panels, correct?

Thanks,

JDG

I think you're correct. I think I saw the gun you are looking at online

d grades did not have checkered cheeks unless special ordered that way. And some special order examples do exist. I own one.
If the gun you messaged me about (for another reason) is the one you ask abouthere, then i can tell you that poor checkering job on the cheeks is NOT original.
