stock ideas to replace ugly wood

I have gave great thought in getting a zabala 213 10 ga magnum which i found is still in production lisr price is 930$
Problem is the wood is ugly to me.
In this pictures you'll see it.The pistol grip is elongated and has a beaver tail forend and the drop at comb and heel isnt low enough also why is there always wood chunks behind the reciever on not really cheap but non bespoke sxs



Now here is a stock design i want made for it . See how the stock drops down deep probably 2" drop at comb and 3" at heel etc.And the semi-pistol grip is short not long like the other one. And splinter forend.

See how this one has a thick BEEFY stock design(westley richards 1901 droplock 8 ga) the zabala has a weird looking skinny stock



Here's the last picture see how the wood just flows thith the action no wood sideburn's or chunks also i like short forends. I want to make the 10 ga look somthing like this after new wood or similar but semi-pistol grip not to sure about strait stockin it



please share comments on my idea and recommend a good sxs stock maker if you know one

Hi there Milton!

Most of us don't know a darned thing about a zabala 213 or any of the other guns you have posted pictures of. Some of those guns are pretty nice to look at and I think if you hope to have your zabala 213 stocked like the second and third pictures you should expect to pay a couple of thousand dollars at least for that kind of quality.

I wouldn't know who to suggest you contact for such a job as most of them have backlogs of more than a year.... right guys??

It was already sold i like to keep a data base of fin sxs 10 but mostly 8 ga sxs . if you want cheap british double try micksguns.com he had a h&h sxs 1890's 577 for 7,000$ and couple other 577 sxs. had a westly richards sxs 12 ga that was sleeved to 10 ga barrels for 3,000$
