Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..

Browning BSS SIDE LOCK 20GA
Browning Bss Sidelock 20 Ga.
From time to time customer brings firearm for service that truly impresses me as I discover that wood and metal craftsmanship is at very high level. Sidelock Bss is one of this firearns. Fit of all components is outstanding, also firearm has slick shape and looks that conforms balance and weight.
This customer shoots it regularly at sporting clays, every week and gun really never experienced much of need for my attention. Of course it's a machine and something gas to give up sometimes, it's a hammer link that was fitted too tight and snapped a part. Normally I will make new part but this time I decided to try something different:
link is sitting on the hammer, it's been tight welded, fitted and silver brazed. I'm curious if it will last, worth trying. Customer ask how did I handled small part thru all process, I show him Elgin watch that I just made parts for and tuned, he didn't have more qyestions.

Parts may be available for these guns. I twisted the main tang screw off of one about 10 or 12 years ago. I was able to get an already engraved replacement. I believe from somewhere in Canada.
