I have updated the opening page of the PGCA Site to reflect, with my sincerest and deepest regret, the news that I learned early this morning.

Late last evening, The Parker Collector Community lost one of the true great gentleman of the Parker Collecting world.

I'm sorry to hear this.

Unfortunately I never had the chance to meet Charles, but I do know of him from hanging out here & know of his contributions to the Parker collecting fraternity.

He will be missed!!! God Speed Charles !!!!!!

A true gentleman and a nicer man cannot be found. I knew Charley only casually through our common appreciation of the Parker gun and I feel privileged to have known him. I wish to extend my sincerest sympathies to his family and friends. He will be missed!

Charlie and I traded guns for years at the old Smokey Mountain Gun Collectors shows.He was very knowledgeable on many guns,not just Parkers.He was the most honest and honorable gun person I have ever worked with.A true gentleman and sportsman.
