Default Roy Rogers Guns and Stuff - ONE Parker #156

Some interesting items at auction here.

The Clark Gable to Roy Rogers Model 12 included.

I think a few of us here grew up with Roy and Dale on small B&W TV's that had an on/off switch and a channel changing dial that worked without a remote control.

Cheers,
Jack

In the 50's - our BW TV had a remote control?? I had a little brother who changed the channels on the dial and moved the rabbit-ear antennas for a better picture "on command"..???

I think RR liked model 12s, I sold him a model 12 20ga with 2 sets of barrels in the 1980s at the old LA gun show in Pomona.

#156 on the auction list is a DH so there is one Parker in the auction.

The "Jim Akins" connection could add quite a bit to one of Roy's guns. I don't remember if I saw the 20 gauge two barrel set in the auction catalog. I merely installed a "Jim Akins" forend on my L.C. Smith and it about tripled the value of the gun.

Thanks for finding that. Not sure how I missed it. Eyes getting dim I guess.
