Default Bogardus....

I see in the color section of the new Parker Pages a photo of some of Charlie Herzog's guns labeled "ordered by Bogardus" but near them is a picture of Capt. Dubray. Curious if those are actually Bogardus guns or if it's just a typo. Anybody know?

That DuBray picture sure gets around after I lent the original to our friend Ed Muderlak for use in one of his books.

Randy was one of the fellows who helped us display 44 nice Parkers at the Pheasant Fest in Kansas City last January. If a person wanted to see Parkers that was the place. Randy is a trapshooter and involved in the history of the sport.

I believe that the picture of DuBray went with a hammer gun lettering to DuBray while he was in the military.

Randy - very nice display. I would love to see a video of a glass ball shoot.

Trap3 I'm assuming you know Ralph Finch who is the editor of On Target Magazine?

I just found it odd that there looked to be a whole rack of guns provenances to Bogardus when I'm unaware of a single example. I'd love to know more, or if the caption is incorrect.

The caption may or may not be incorrect. Charlie can probably give us an accurate account of the picture with DuBray and those guns. I try not to 'invent' any information for Parker Pages, but it is possible that I might have mistakenly given wrong information.

My apologies if I did.

Thanks Goerge, It would be great to have seen a glass ball shoot...

Destry, I do. Have'nt talked to Ralph in a while. Have seen Bogardus`s live bird gun, a W C Scott & Son SxS. It was donated to the ATA museum. When i was researching Bogardus I read that he used different makes of guns in his shooting exhibitions and some of his guns were lost when a boat sank on the Mississippi. He placed a medallion on his items used in his shows. Don`t know about the photo of latest Parker Pages
