Default Looking for Fox 12 Ga. CE Grade SN 29271

I am looking for a 12 gauge CE grade Fox with Serial Number 29271.

I have a set of barrels for the gun marked "29271" over a "2". It is a 30 inch set of Chromox barrels choked Full and Full. In great condition.

I would like to see those barrels get back on the gun.

According to Bob Beach at Griffin and Howe, that gun was originally sold to James G. K. Lawrence in 1927 through A & F. Mr. Lawrence was President of the Coney Island Jockey Club back then.

I have posted this on the Fox Collectors web site also.

Thanks

Yeah, and you have a nice XE too.

Rich,

My apologies. I had you associated with the McNutt XE grade Fox owned by Don Nickerson. Senior moment.

Is the SN of your CE close to 29217?

Keep an eye on the October Julia's auction - there are some Fox C's in it.

15423 is my Fox's number so it's a ways apart.
