Default Need help identifying a parker

Hey everyone, this will be my first post of hopefully many on this forum!

I need some help identifying a Parker I have recently come across. The stampings are where they should be, but they don't look like I think they should.

I've included some photos and any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Eric.

There in lies the problem! It's not letting my load more than one photo at a time, but I've got a feeling someone put new barrels on an old Parker.

Your gun started life as a Grade 2 (GH) 12 gage with ejectors and capped pistol grip stock and 30" Damascus barrels as it is in the Parker Gun ID. and serialization book. I also think your gun was rebarreled .What does the top rib say ?

Yes, a GHE grade with aftermarket barrels. The barrels look to be a complegely new set and not ones that were sleeved from originals.

Eric that is very cool. You should get a letter on it.

A PGCA research letter would not address the barrel replacement as those are not Parker Bros. or even Remington replacement barrels.

Default New Parker

Eric, I would suggest getting a Parker Research letter for the gun, have the barrels checked for safety concerns and if safe you've got a great hunter and shooter. Enjoy

Agreed Dean but it would be a good step in the right direction. Who knows? Maybe the gun was sold to someone in England or Europe?
And Eric should post it on the lost and found list. Maybe the other set of bbls is around?
