Default Case Accessories(per Jack's Request)

A couple cased 20's. The burgandy lined case is a Brady. The green lined case is an oak and leather A&F made for the gun and with A&F marked oil bottle and snap caps. Lots of work to rejuvenate the leather on this case.

Bruce: Thanks for these pictures. I'm going to see what I can build, firstly for the cleaning rod and accessories kit and if that turns out, maybe a gun case. First thing will be to learn a bit beyond my 7th grade woodshop course. Fortunately, I have access to a full woodshop. Maybe this time next year I will have something, that's about my pace when learning from scratch. Thanks again.

Jack

I have a question for Parker collectors. The first photo is of a Parker Bros marked oil bottle. That one was obtained from a vintage case seller who said he got it from an old case. I am aware that Dave Parker had about 40-60 of these things made in the 1990's and advertised in the PP's as "like the originals". I don't recall seeing any such oil bottles in TPS, so I wonder if there were originals. Are all these modern versions, are there any originals and if so how do you tell?

Bruce, I've only been in this Parker collecting business for about 55 years, seriously for about 50 years. I've never seen a Parker Brothers marked oil bottle that I thought was original to the Parker Brothers factory. The good news if that some of the fake stuff is so old that it is considered collectable. My repro paper collection is gaining value nicely. My Parker Repro paper collection is doing almost as well, if not better.
