Lexol Conditioner. It is carried at many car dealerships and it is excellent for leather seats in keeping the leather soft and pliable. In my opinion it is about the best thing you can do for old leather.

Not to be confused with Lexol Cleaner which is no better than any other leather cleaning product.

My personal preference is to first clean the dirt off with saddle soap. Then apply a coat of Pecard leather dressing per directions. Pecard is the best stuff in my view. Google them. Smithsonian uses it.

I have used Fiebing's Liguid Glycerine/Saddle Soap. You can purchase it from Tandy Leather.

+1 for the Pecard products, it's all I ever use anymore. I use their Antique leather dressing on any old leather products including gun cases, shot flasks, and shooting bags.

Pecard +++

They sell 3 types Oil, Lotion and Paste that has about the consistency of Vasaline. Lotion dresses up leather that's in good condition. Paste is the one to restore old dry leather. It works best warm, hot sunny day outside let it soak in. Wintertime in front of the fireplace. Several thin applications work best.
