remington 1894 question

i have a remington a grade 10 ga hammerless with ejectors that i m haveing trouble with..right barrel fires ok but the left will not fire..when empty and dry fireing the gun it seems weak when fired it barely hits the primer on a loade shell...also when you break the gun open any time the ejecter will eject even when not fired....anybody got any ideas...charlie

Is that the one that was on Gunbroker for awhile ? Had slightly pitted barrels And they had a starting bid of $595 on it ?

no its not the same gun i got this gun from the kittery trading post some time back..worked good every time i shot it till recently...any ideas....charlie

Any chance you have two unrelated problems ? That will mess with your head, sounds like they happened at the same time but it just may be coincidence. I would ignore the ejector and examine the firing spring first.

i will give this a try in a few days..thanks fellows for the advise...will post what i find wrong...was gona use it on turkey till this happened....charlie
