Unfortunately Fred, that serial number is not in the book. Anything below Grade 3 guns in that range were omitted when the records were transcribed fro the ID & Ser Book.

But I checked and there ARE surviving factory records upon which to base a Research Letter.

It was brought to my attention this morning that I misstated the history of the omission or Grade 2 and lower Parkers.

There were two separate databases extracted from the Parker stock books and Parker order books at Remington Arms in Illion, NY during the 1990's. One database was the result of the research done by the authors of The Parker Story and the other database was the result of the research done by the team of PGCA members who spent more than a week copying these same books for the PGCA archival files so that we could produce PGCA Research Letters.
One of the gentlemen who did research at Remington in preparation for The Parker Story omitted the Grade 2 and lower guns in certain ranges of serial numbers as being insignificant to the chapters he was writing.

I hope I have it right this time.
