Thanks Dean, much appreciated. Gun looks to be in somewhat rough shape with an old metal plate stock repair, but has what appears to be a factory skeleton BP on a GH.

Well fitting a skeleton butt plate that nicely certainly isn't a job for amateurs so it is likely factory work but with no record?
Get a letter - that may contain the answer. .
