Default Shot Tee-Kays Gun

I shot my newest Parker today at Rochester Brooks Gun Club, a 1903 DH Pigeon gun ordered by T. H. Tom Keller. I have done a bunch of research on Tee-Kay as he was called----I find that he shot at the Rochester Gun Club in with the likes of Walter Parker and all the rest of the top shooters of the era. He shot with AH Fox, Fred Gilbert and many of other pros of the day during the late 1800's and early 1900's. Over 1600 hits on Keller on the L84 web site., the Peters Cartridge Co. sales rep for the eastern US. After a slow start the karma of Mr. Keller came alive in my hands---I am a very average shooter---just smoked targets 110 years after leaving Meridan. Condition is what we all strive for but provenance is really fun.

I'm sure Tee-Kay would be happy his gun is in good hands now. Nice looking DH. PG or straight, no safety? What's on the butt?

No safety, 2 3/4" chambers specified on the order (they measure 2 7/8" with my Galazan gauge) F/XF pistol grip 30" bbls, skeleton butt. I believe the barrels were redone at one time otherwise I believe it is original---no closet queen but a neat gun in my opinion.

Nice gun Craig, and a great way to honor the original owner

Rochester Brooks continues the tradition even though those original broken targets are buried under the runway at the airport.
