Default Difficulty removing barrel from action...

My "new" Trojan does not release the barrel for removal unless I first snap the hammers. Then it comes off fine. Any ideas what is going on?

The cocking crank/slide is most likely not operating properly. Cause is probably just accumulated dirt. Have the gun stripped and cleaned professionally and the problem will most likely disappear.

Yes, it is most likely dirt and grime inside sticking things up. Or often a broken unhooking slide spring will cause barrels to not release.
