Default Titanic Steel Barrels question

The definition of Titanic is, as follows: “having great magnitude, force, or power”.

With the sinking of the RMS Titanic in 1912, a ship of great magnitude, force, or power proved itself not to be infallible.

Due to this negative connotation, was any consideration given in 1912 to abandon the Titanic designation relative to Parker barrels?
