A Little Tom Foolery
Didn't make it to the Southern but spent my time in the woods with my son Jeremy. Close call on the first day, but he got a big bird on day 2 and called it in himself. Got it with my 870 that I bought in 1972 with money made from baling hay. Then it was my turn on what I thought was shaping up to be a slow day, I called this one in. Both birds had 1 3/8" spurs and 11 in beards.
