Hello,

I know we have some very experienced guys here when it comes to looking up history on past owners/buyers of these guns we enjoy. I would like to tap into the knowledge if possible

I'm looking to find info on a gentleman by the name of Lewis P. Kalb. He was the recipient of a Grade 7E NID around 1946. I have no town or state.

Does this name ring a bell with anyone or maybe someone has a good way of searching past shooters?

In 1940 a Lewis P. Kalb lived in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, age 51
Grosse Pointe was then one of the wealthiest cities in the U.S.; home to the Fords.
Contact the Grosse Pointe paper and I'll bet his name will come up.

Kalb was born in Ohio, and he was an automotive engineer with Standard Parts Co. in Cleveland in 1920, then 30 years old
