Default Inflation and Parker Prices

More than a 1/2 dozen Parkers that sold at the Guyette & Deeter auction just one month ago, are now listed for sale on the internet at 2-3x their hammer prices.

Scott,
You should understand that markup. Think of all the extra expense the new seller incurred fabricating guns with problems into mint vintage originals.

Brian,

The ones I have seen are lots 237, 248, 254, 257, 258, 259 from the G&D auction. They are now being listed by CSMC on GI.

Tony has always done that.

Interesting. Buy at retail, sell at super-retail. At least you have some idea what they have in the guns.

Funny, and we thought the Guyette prices were over the top.

Buyer Beware: These guns are listed with a "NO Return Policy". I think 5 of the 6 guns listed were restored at some point and are not mentioned as such in the Guns International description. Thanks to Guyette and Deeter(Josh Lowensteiner) who gave honest and more detailed descriptions in their catalog.

Buyer Beware- A bunch of Fox guns have also grown new case colors recently and are marked No Return.

Economics in Father Guido Sarducci's Five Minute University: Buy low. sell high. In this case it seems it's buy high, sell higher.
