Default Best stock epoxy?

Has anyone tried the System Three T-88 Epoxy for repairs? I'm now finishing the repair/refurb on the fore end on my '54 A-5 light 12. They are very thin, finely made and mine had over the years developed several longitudinal cracks. After lots of reading, chose this product because of it's claims to do well on old wood with less than perfect prep being possible. It is 72 hours to final cure and has oozed all the way thru the cracks to the opposite side. As I was scared to really force the cracks open this is exactly what I had hoped for. Looks great now, time will tell.
