My "new" 16ga. Lifter
This is a recent acquisition, a 0 grade 16 gauge lifter with 28” plain twist barrels on a #0 frame and plain stock without checkering. The LOP is a little short at 13”, but with a heavy coat or slip on pad I will make it work.
I will need to replace the right hammer and might just buy a set and keep the one original hammer with the gun. There are several small dents in the barrels that need to be raised and I will have the barrels refinished. I am optimistic that it will clean up well.
I want to order the research letter on this too. I had been looking for a 16 gauge hammer gun and was very excited to find one that was a lifter.
