Book says Grade 0 gun with plain twist barrels

What does the rib say for barrrl steel? The barrel flat looks like it has an "L" on it suggesting Laminated steel.

Right Brian - The L is for Laminated Steel barrels and in that serial number range Laminated Steel barrels were generally used only on Grade 1 guns.
