Sad as it is, sometimes when a Fox tries to go where it doesn't belong it gets run over and killed.

That little poem on the Fox board was quite the gem. I wonder how those words taste now? Way to go boys.

Didn't see anything dispaqraging on the AHFCA forum at all - they're probably waiting for our little victory celebration on this forum before they decide exactly what to say.

We had a grand day of shooting and comeraderie and had about twenty-eight shooters between both camps. Just a whole bunch of good fun shooting and joking with everybody.

Larry brought venison burgers and dogs, Greg brought salmon filets, Kathy brought a good salad - everybody brought something and we kept being served platters of crab cakes, lobster thermadore, clam cakes and such by the chefs from the 90th birthday party for the original owner of Addieville East Farms that was going on right next to us.

The AHFCA shooters were real gentlemen who displayed the utmost in humility in presenting the $50 "winnin's" to Larry Frey (from who's wallet he paid the bet to the Fox guys last year) as we commenced to prepare lunch.

Definitely one of the very best days I've ever spent at a shooting event.

Third picture is Dave Suponski crushing two birds with one shot.

Fourth picture is Larry Frey at the same station. Deb Frey couldn't attend and we missed her a LOT!!

Last picture is Larry, Greg, Jan, Dean, Kathy, Dawn, Jamie and Dave while Danny Suponski took the picture.

Some of you might like to know that the cookies that Kathy baked especially for this event were enjoyed by all and there were more of them because Rich Anderson wasn't there to steal any.

First and foremost I would like to thank Jack of Addieville Farm East for being a most gracious host. They went way over the top to make us feel welcome along with providing a great ATV for some folks that needed it.Their newly redone sporting course is a thing of beauty and challenging at the same time. They are already planning our return next year and will set the course for SxS specific shooting.I would personally like to thank all that attended this was our best year yet! Pictures to follow...

Yes Dave, thanks for once again working to put this shoot together. With the new course and the great weather it was the best event yet. It was nice to see some new faces this year like Pete and Scott from NH and Chris Travinski and his 11 year old neighbor who from all accounts was beating the NH contingent until a late surge helped them pull ahead. It was nice to see this young man come out and have fun shooting a SxS. I hope next year we can get a few more first timers to dust off there Parkers and come shoot with us at Addieville farm.
