Default Recommendation for butt pad swap

I have a Parker that has been in the family for three generations. The butt pad that is on the gun is not original. I have the original pad and would like to find someone in California, preferably southern California, that can remove the pad that is on the gun and install the original pad. The stock will need to be doweled and re-drilled. I am very hesitant to ship the gun. I need the job to be perfect. Thanks for your suggestions.

Pete,
I don't know where this gentleman is located, but he is the man in Californis to have work done on Parkers.

It is nice to know that there is a Parker-qualified gunsmith within a 2-3 hour drive from the Bay Area. Thanks, I'll file that one.

Gunsmiths are a vanishing breed in this state of ever-increasing regulations. There is only one guy I know who lives in this area that focuses on double shotguns, as he does all of the work for a sporting clays club that rents O/Us. Also, the population increase to 39 million has not exactly done much for hunting or even our clay shooting ranges. No offense to our members who are new CA residents, but it was a great party that too many people came to...
