Although the butt treatment is not original to the gun, the stock looks quite original.

Yes, that stock is original. Like others have said, the pad and spacer are obvious additions. The stock has been cut short at one time and those look to have brought it out to where the LOP was.
All Parker straight grip stocks will also have a long tang trigger guard. If you ever see one with a short tang, it is not original. They just flattened out the pistol grip guard. Straight stocks are far less commonly found on hammerless guns than full pistol grip stocks.

If this gun has an original long tang trigger guard, this isn't a bad buy if no other issues appear.

The best course for a person interested in Parkers is to get at least the Muderlak Parker Old Reliable book and study that as a starter, find a mentor who knows, have an idea what you want , then move quickly should the right gun surface. Be quiet about it, there are people who lurk here, the usual numbers are maybe 30 members and 120 non forum member lurkers/lookers, and some of those will buy a gun out from under a person who brings attention to it.

The gun was brought to the attention to a group of people who would be the most interested in it. If you don't know much about Parkers you are wise to be cautious but on the other hand, he who hesitates.....There is a tuition cost in learning to collect Parker's, it comes in many forms, anyone who has been at it for awhile has a one that got away story. Bruce gave very sound advice.
