Default TROJAN WITH BARREL EXTENSION

I have a Parker 16 gauge Trojan built in 1912 which was the first year Parker made Trojans. What's interesting about my Trojan is that it has a top rib extension. The Parker Story on page 135 states that some of the early Trojans had rib extensions and a there is a photo on this page showing two Trojans, one with, and one without the extension.
My question is "how rare is the Trojan with the rib extension and how does this affect the value of my Trojan"?
I have had this gun for nearly 40 years---I bought it because of its excellent all original condition---years after I purchased it I found out that the rib extension is not too common and that most (of the ones I've seen) do not have an extension.
I am thinking of finding a new home for my Trojan but I need to get opinions of whether it is indeed scarce and how this may affect its value compared to what I believe is the more common Trojan without the extension
Comments and opinions would be appreciated.
