Default Gilbert/Sousa

I was recently doing some research on local trapshooter, Tony Chezik, and in the April 11, 1918 edition of the Portal International newspaper from Portal, ND I came across a short article entitled "Two Good Tales of Trapshooters, Bandleader Sousa becomes good shot, but Fred Gilbert is no drummer." The article was apparently lifted from the newswire. The author is not listed. If anyone is interested in this article, I can email it to them.

Yeah, I study Sousa a bit and would appreciate the article. I should be talking to the local Sousa relatives before they all die. wilmrph@verizon.net Thanks. Bill Murphy

Default "Tony" Chezik- possibly A. (Anthony) R.

I have the Jimmie Robinson/Jim Nichols book "The Grand- A History of Trapshooting"and on page 355 under listings for scores by States (North Dakota) an A. R. Chezik is listed as top scorer 9 nines from 1914 until 1925- FYI
