YES, THE "2" IS ON THE BARREL LUG, AND THE BARRELS DO APPEAR TO HAVE THE TWIST. DO YOU HAPPEN TO KNOW WHAT THE CIRCLED "T" MEANS? I THINK THE NUMBER UNDER THE T IS THE ORDER NO. TO THE RIGHT OF THAT NUMBER (524) IS THE NUMBER 14. I WILL TRY TO GET SOME PICS LOADED. THANKS

Jeff,
I believe the circled T is for Twist which would match your barrels. Dennis |

The 524 I believe is unstruck barrel weight.

![]() 5 pounds 24 oz?? ?? my son gained his height early (as did I - but he added a couple) - and was so much taller than his class mates he became a little annoyed by everyone asking how tall he was - he took to telling them "5 feet 17 inches "

524 is some sort of inspector's mark. I have a Parker lifter with that mark and one with 525.

Thanks to all of you, can you still purchase barrel's for these guns? this one has a cracked barrel on the end. This gun was brought over by covered wagon by my great grandpa's grandpa. Been in the family for years. wish I knew more about it, the stories are most likely priceless.

Jeff this might be a foolish question but which end of the barrels is cracked? I am of course assuming the muzzle end. If that is the case how long is the crack? Barrels can be shortened to behind the crack if you are planning to shoot the gun. If not why not leave it alone as a valuable piece of family history. There may be a good story of why the crack is there.
