Gary, Standard factory pads for Parker SC Trap guns were Hawkins. Also Parker regularly fitted any pad the customer requested...So the answer to your question is "yes"

Thanks Dave: My Parker came with a Hawkins pad, but the gun had stood behind a curtain for decades and the pad was flatened out and the plastic part broke in half. I replaced it with a Pachmyer sporting clay pad, i would like to pick up an original Hawkins pad or a original dog head hard plastic pad.

Gary,You can pick up a repro Hawkins pad at Conn. Shotgun Mfg. Co. I think they have repro butt plates also. Both will require some fitting to your stock.

Thanks again Dave i will keep that option open if an original doesn't come along. One more question would an original pad also need to be fitted?

Every once in a while a member will put up an original for sale here or sometimes they turn up on E-Bay. Regardless of original or reproduction they will almost certainly have to be fitted.

I've seen the repro ones and the originals, you really can't tell the difference once it's on the gun.

Default Hawkins Pad- I have an original--

Thanks again Dave i will keep that option open if an original doesn't come along. One more question would an original pad also need to be fitted Yes all pads even older ones need to be "fitted" or tweaked- Mine is the red with the Hawkins initials- the staggered vents and the black spacer- came from a 12 gauge Trojan- No. 2 frame- If you are interested (as we can sell such items here- just not the Trojans) no shotgun sales allowed-- I can give you the measurements- including center to center hole spacing, etc-- pad is near new- no sponging (I store my double shotguns muzzles down-pads or buttplates up- in my gun safe- by the by)--

In case you are wondering- this 12 Trojan Parker had a broken buttstock, so I salvaged the pad, and found a replacement with the std. black Non-DHBP- Trojan buttplate- had my gunsmith fit same to said Trojan- I'm a "farm boy" at heart- I have cigar boxes full of buttplates, recoil pads, screws, grip caps- even once had the butt section with the skeleton buttplate from a DH 12-- I never throw anything like those items out- never can tell when you might need one, right??

Default Hawkins Pad- I have an original--

As Dave- a brother tool and die man has advised me of the Galazan's price of $30.00 (plus handling, packing, shpg.) and advised me that $25.00 would be fair if my pad is usable- and we have a new member possibly looking for same-I will offer it to him for $22.50 including shipping, and will full five day inspection option- here are the dims--in decimals (what we work with)-- OAL on black spacer 4.895" OAL on red pad face 5.060" developed angle at toe aprox. 31.5 degrees thickness including black spacer 0.8185" dia. of both through mounting screw holes is 0.178" and at red pad face (compressed 0.240"- no tears or rips or stress Logo is in all caps- HAWKINS - and in smaller case Caps- after the toe mounting hole PAT'D- pad has 11 vents equidistantly spaced triangluar shaped with a slight heart shaped dip or roll on the base leg- isoceles triangles I believe- This offer at $22.50 is ONLY for our new member-I think we all should "take the high road" with newbies- if they turn out to be Spammers or BOTs- we'll deal with that later- as in our system of jurisprudence- one is considered to be innocent first--
