I just thinking bout using that bps because I might sell.that ithaca. Next month. I've done bought so many guns the past few months I feel burnt out lol. As far as chokes go I got5 for my 10 ga. A Kite mod briley a wad wizard of unknown construction I think uS just a regular full and a .680 choke I bought from george trulocks shop over in wigham. Aslo got a cheapo xxfull from h&r for their 10 ga and it patterns about the best.

Might just keep to crow hunting as I get the most joy out of it. I shoot them on the roost. You know how hard it is to get a crow to land when your with 70 yards lol but its fun. Also if I handloaded that 10 ga 3.5 I could.might load up 2 oz of #9 or #10 and rely on pattern deNsity over energy. Also other than #2 steel shot the Lite mod isn't worth much as a versatile choke

I shoot dove with my 10'gauges. I do keep it to 1 1/8 or 1 1/4 oz loads. I will take the 1 1-4 oz load and only drop 1 1-8 oz of shot and press a SpredR 12 gauge disk onto the shot. It really helps a full choke 10 when the dove are within 25 yards. Harry |
