Default Engraver's Signature: Help Please

I bought this gun from Jaqua's a few years ago. There are no records. I always assumed it was a CHE upgrade by DelGrego and Runge. Yesterday (using my wife's nifty coin microscope) I found the engraver's signature. See this video: https://youtu.be/UzlEmuPjUHg. This confirms Runge, correct?

Do the barrel flats have any markings that would indicate DelGrego? Like initials inside a circle? I can't see any but the barrel flats pic isn't the best. But I think you are correct on Runge. And does the stock oval have any initials?

"Bob" signed his upgrades in at least two different locations; the more common one was on the bull nose end of the trigger plate, and in either the left or right side of a border of the trigger plate. The former, being curved, had less information, but the straight often included a date.
The DelGrego stamp that Reggie refers to, was something they used randomly. It doesn't appear on many of the upgrades done by the two, together.
I wasn't aware of DelGrego stamping a date of their upgrades, until Brian found it while working on mine, in the top tang groove.
Reggie will probably agree, the timing of your post is ironic.

This is the second C grade upgrade that I have seen by delgrego / rungue. The other one was signed in the same sort of location. Along the straight border.

The 28 you worked on for me is signed on the radius of the front end of the plate.

Ok. That is the other C I am thinking of.

But I know that I have seen another one signed on the straight border. It must have been another gun.

Reggie:

That question is outside of my pay grade. Here are some better photographs of the barrel flats.

Victor, a video is not the best method of studying engraving. I have seen many Runge upgrades and I assume this is one of them.

Just hit the pause button and it becomes a still image.

That’s exactly how they signed their upgrades on the ones that I have examined.
