Default Rottweil F16 Ammo

Have any of you ever used this ammunition or know if this is a low pressure load? It uses a fibre wad but not sure about load pressures. I can't find much information on their site about these fibre wad loads or any info online regarding this ammo. I have recently purchased a 1911 16ga Ithaca Flues and if this ammo is safe to use in it I'll grab it while the dealer has it in stock.

I would guess that it's not a low pressure load and at 1oz it's going to whack you.

I used it in 16 & 20 gauge guns years ago. Don't know about psi but they shot well and were equal in price to Rem and Win ammo. I actually preferred them to other brands, still have a box of 16's left.

Because that is the prices of ammo in Canada and that's not that high compared to lots. I recently bought Kent Gamebore 2 1/2" 1oz #5, was $39.99/box! Have to love tariffs!

Unless it was special ordered chambered for longer shells, a 1911 Flues 16-gauge would have started life chambered for 2 9/16-inch shells.
