Default Mixed Bag Hunt

It was only a mixed-bag put-and-take hunt, but it's always satisfying to put an old veteran back in the field. In this case, a 1922 VHE 20ga, 26". It has clearly been a favorite for past owners and shows the wear, but it can still bring down the birds.

I like honest wear on a gun, too. I’d like to think we who have a mile or two on us have some honest also. Looks like that nice gun is serving you well.

Nice gun, I am one that likes short barrels( and long ones also). My VHE 20 and VH 20 26", are my go to bird guns.
