Default Trojan 20ga. on gunrunner auction.

There is a nicely reconditioned 20ga. Trojan on Gunrunner Auction. Lot #67 ends 06/14/11 at 8:20 pm Eastern. I have not interest in this sale and frame is blued. Price as of now only $610.00 Hope this helps and have fun. Thanks, JIM

I wouldn’t not buy a gun because the frame was blued as long as the price was right. They will kill game just as effectively as a case colored gun. The 20 gage VH below was used to silence the long beard in my avatar.

Besides they look cool in a M-21 kind of way.

I suspect the barrels were cut back 2"??? It's an early Trojan and if I remember correctly the 26" bbl Trojan 20's were much fewer in number and came out later than 1914.

I have bought several Parkers with blued receivers and barrels that were redone at the same time. The bluing on the receiver will come off easily with vinegar, but the barrels will cost hundreds to fix because of the lead salts will eventually cause the ribs to come loose. This happened to me twice, good deals not so good at all.
