Any one with any idea what percentage of all Parkers had vent ribs?

There is a list of known vent rib serial numbers in the appendix of The Parker Story. The list is not extrapolated for missing books or missing IBM cards. The closest you are going to come is to count those numbers and extrapolate at your own best guess. There are eight or nine missing stock books in the vent rib era. There are thirteen existing books and a partial in the same period. Many of the missing books are in the early days of little vent rib production. I don't know what the percentage of missing IBM cards is. This fact has never been published as far as I know. Let us know what you figure out. Personally, I would extrapolate the missing entries at about 20 to 24 percent with the information we have now.

I will post my findings.
I was estimating 15% based upon the given info. But you are rigth who knows with the missing books. I would imagine there aee alot of trap and skeet guns in those missing books.

The difference between your 15% estimate and my 20% to 24% estimate will not be a lot of guns when multiplied by the number of guns listed in TPS. When you get finished counting those guns, let us know what you get.
