Default Michiganders to the Southern

To my fellow Michigan Parker "Gentlemen" going to the Southern.
I wish you well and God speed in your travels.
Shoot straight, go easy on the cocktails, and have a big fat cigar for me.
I will be thinking of you guys as I put another coat of paint on the house trim.
I thought I was done, but can't get gutters to match the new trim color, so I'm painting it again, 2 shades darker.

Dave, you are the person my Lovely Linda always wanted me to be. Unfortunately, she is being disappointed by the second husband in a row. Her late husband is a wonderful friend of mine who shot and hunted more days a year than I do, many of which he spent with me. Oh well.

Dave, Just do the damned chores and get them done; not likely, there's always more. When faced with the situation I like to take Pete, the dog, out for a workout in the field and woods. Pete's a great therapist for dealing with the guilt of procrastination. Anyway, I won't be able to make to Sanford either and I wish (expect) victory for the Parker Team. I fully intend to make the Yooper this year for the first time; you going to do it?

It is not going to be the same.... Dave as you know I don't shoot straight and now the Doc says I have to take it easy on the cocktails and the cigar is a total "no" I wish you were coming with us. Well there is always the UP shoot. Maybe..?

Well it is still raining in Indiana. I can't plant corn, so I will be at the Southern by noon on Friday provided that Delta is on time.

Eric, say it ain't so!! I'd be lookin' for a short rope and a tall tree Or at least a short barreled Parker with a trigger guard big enough that my big toe would fit in.

We've got a frog-strangler going on the Au Sable. Flow rates are record high. Pray for my dock
