Default Parker Gunsmithing Question

I have to replace an ejector in my Challenge gun. Does the ejector stop plate come out from the bottom up or the top down? I got the screw out without stress, but the plate is in there pretty tight and I don't want to force it tighter by trying to remove it the wrong way. Thanks for some free advice.

Bill,
The ejector stop plate is slightly tapered and slides vertically out the top of the dolls head.
