Default DHE Trap gun... Anshutz?

Here are a few pics of my 32" English stock beavertail DHE trap gun sn 229924. Pretty sure no records exist for this gun. Tried to get a letter a year or so ago. I have included some close ups of the dogs which both seem to be boys. The engraving seems a little more detailed with extra background. Does anyone have an opinion as to if it was possibly done by Anshutz?

Jared, I believe that would be Anschutz's work. I wonder what he had against female dog's?

I believe that engraving of the dogs is a very good example of Frederick Anschutz's work.

Nice Parker, incidentally.

I had CHE Trap gun 230760 which was engraved by the same hand and, like you, the book is missing.

Thanks for confirming the engraving. Is there any chance that someone still has these missing ledger entries? I have run into several over the years that are not listed in the serialization book and no letter is available.

There's always that possibility I suppose.

Finding those books would surely answer a lot of questions

A beautiful DH Jared. The case hardening behind the dogs looks like the sun is
setting. Nice colors.
