Well Calvin, so do I. This belongs to my good friend who declines to post here. I don't own a hammer gun, and have yet to find the right one.

Not very many years ago, there were few who were interested in hammer Parkers, now many are. There is usually lots of interest in the few lifter action guns that remain in good condition.

Bruce, An ol lifter is what got me here (good or bad) I shoot black powder 45 70 in a roller. I decided I wanted a hammer gun to shoot black at birds. Well just so happens the one I ended up with was a Parker 0 grade. I shot it a lot after I got it the ol girl kind of shoots where I look pretty mean on phesant. Was always worried about barrel wall thickness it is a 12 it seems that it's about .28 around the fore end. Thanks for your other post on size. Now i'm trying to get it back like it was when it was young. ch
