Default Side Receiver Screws-Removal ?

Can the larger screw on the side of the receiver (the one with the small lock screw) be removed from a totally assembled receiver?? I wish to due a little restoration on it since it is slightly buggered.
Thank you!!!!

Bob, Sorry NO! That is the Hammer Screw, There is spring pressure on the hammers and that screw. You must disassemble the receiver before you can remove it without damage.
