Open House at the New Loading Room
In 2012, I pretty much quit loading shotgun ammo because I had a stash of 28 and .410 loaded and 20 and 12 gauge shells were available at the local Dick's and and CAC in Pennsylvania for less than five bucks a box. I had a stash of pigeon loads, so I didn't need to load any 12s for many years. In 2017, I packed all the loading equipment away in anticipation of a move to a different home. After almost three years in the new digs, I recently opened my new loading room and ammunition bunker. Just TODAY, I loaded my first 12 gauge shells in more than seven years on one of my Ponsness Warren 800B loaders. This loader has 128,000 loads on the counter since 1988, when I installed the counter. I plan to testfire the first 12 gauge shells tomorrow and open the small gauge loaders very soon.
