Two kids got married. Against all odds, we still are.

Congratulations Todd! There has to be a back story to this one.

It is a love story, with a lot of bumps and hard knocks along the way. We weathered everything this world could throw at us. Plenty of ups and downs.
What it comes down to, ultimately, is wedding vows.

I remember one cold winter day in our little apartment. Couldn't afford heat, had one potato, and one package of oatmeal between us for dinner.
We worked hard, and struggled through those years. Looking back, I wouldn't change a thing.

Todd been there and I can appreciate your story. I remember when a 2 pound chunk of bologna stuffed with cloves was Christmas dinner. Like you say many high mountains and deep valleys to overcome but after 56 years every one of them made us stronger and more determined and we also wouldn't trade them for a moment, which is much easier to say in hindsight then while experiencing it. Stay true. Happy anniversary and a very Merry Christmas.

Congratulations, todd. No way for you to forget your anniversary!

Forty-eight years together for us. I still can't believe I convinced this beautiful thing to marry me. Trust me when I say I married up, guys.
