Default Parker "Game Gun"

Does anyone have a Parker 12 ga, 30" barrels that weighs about 7lb?
A 6.5-7lb English gun I believe is a "game gun" and need to know what the barrel weight is on an equivalent Parker. I am taking a 1 frame hammergun receiver and going to have Simmons make a barrel for it and want to end up around 7lb.

Default Game Gun

David ; these are close;

214194 VH 1 1/2 30 inch 7 pounds 2 ounces, barrel stamp 3 13 barrel weight 3 pounds 6 ounces

216639 DH 1 1/2 28 inch 6 pounds 15 ounces barrel stamp 3 8 barrel weight 3 pounds 1 once

ejector guns are a few ounces heavier; hammer frames are heavier than hammerless.

22694 Stub Twist 1 frame, 6 pounds 10 ounces, 26 3/4 barrels stamped 3 6 weight 2pounds 13 ounces. Probably cut; paper thin barrels, short stock

12005 Plain twist 1 frame, 30 inches, 7 pounds 3 ounces, barrel stamp 3 12 weight 3 pounds 4 ounces

73201 GH 2 frame 28 inches 7 pounds 1 ounce stamped 4 3 barrel weight 3 pounds 4 ounces.

Best, Austin

What do you use to get the weights?

Thank you!!! I talked to Reggy at Simmons and they do not feel it is a problem to make the barrel and talked to Trevalion and he will do the stock.
I will let you shoot it when it is done . I am going to copy the A grade engraving on pg 310 0f TPS.http://parkerguns.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif

Default Postal Scale

Robin ; A 10 pound electronic Postal Scale that reads to 0.2 ounce. It is quite repeatable, and the 6 x 6 inch platform supports an inverted S x S quite nicely.

Best, Austin
