Default Met up with PGCA member today

..........After some PM's and forum talk, I finally met up with Russ Jackson today at a gun show in the Pgh., PA area. He was toting around a DHE Grade, and I asked him if he was Russ. It took off from there. We have been trying to hook up for a little time now, and it finally happened. What a courteous, nice guy. We talked Parkers and Sterlingworths for a bit, and continued to bump into each other. I just continue to be amazed by the professionalism and courtesy exhibited by the PGCA members I have had contact with both in person and online. Thank You, one and all. Don.

Personally, I left empty-handed, but called Russ later in the evening, and we struck a deal on the DHE. I'll be the proud new owner tomorrow evening. There were quite a few Sterlingworth"s there... my second love... as well as some decent Smith's. I looked hard at a nice L.C. a couple of times, but the DHE was heavy on my mind...... Parkers do that to me.....I guess we all know that feeling!

Don ,Thank you for the kindest of compliments ! We really did continue to bump into one another ,we ended up having more than a few pleasant conversations !I came away empty handed except for the DHE ,I was carrying ! I feel the same as Don ,this is quite a little club we have here , I tell every one I meet up with and discuss Parker Guns with ,if you use the internet check us out ,you will be glad you did ! Overall ,I was dissapointed in the lack of good quality guns ,too many tables of knives and " Black Guns ,and a lot of Military guns ! I always like to see Double guns and Early Winchester's !Different strokes for different folks ,I guess thats what makes the world go round ! Russ

Don, Congratulations on your new(old) Parker! I hope this is the beginning of a life long love affair with the Parker Gun. Russ is a great guy and a great example of what this organization is all about.
