Calvin: I have used Michael on more than one occasion in the past and he has always done OK by me. Besides collecting doubles I have been building custom stocks [mostly rifles] for over 50 years and particulary like a "French Gray" finish on engraving to show the details. This is like the gray finish seen on some Brownings but is actually a pickeling process. He is the only one in this area that even knows what it is and how to do it. Lee.

What a guy. Spiffing up his shotgun for a wedding. Most people would just take any old shotgun to a wedding.

You have to hand it to those western Kansas boys they really know how to celebrate everything, at least he will be using a Parker I assume. As I remember my first wedding was attended by a Savage/Stevens .22/410 model 24. It's worth more than the wedding today. Have a nice day!. Lee.

Calvin, I went from nine years of Catholic school, a short break for college, and then then to Fort Bragg for basic training. No wife I have ever had has been able to find a fresh place to land a skillet. Maybe that's why I have so many shotguns.

Calvin: The easiest way to get to Mike's is come in the turnpike and go to I-435 South exit. Go South on 435 to the Johnson drive exit.[It's well marked] get off and go left [East] on Johnson drive. When you see Lamar street or I- 35 you are close. I think you go under I-35. He is on the left side in a little shopping area. I think his web site has a map. You will go through a lot of stop lights and some residential area this way but it's foolproof. It's about 5 or 6 miles East after you get off on Johnson drive. Of course, if you come back out that way get on I-435 North toward the turnpike, go undet the turnpike bridge to State street go West on State a block to the light, turn right and presto !!! You are at Cabela's. Have a ball! Lee.
