Default Can't decide whether to "pull the trigger."

Hi, Gents;
I have looked at a 10 gauge "G" grade 32" Damascus parker. The owner says her dad kept it above the fireplace for many years, and he was a smoker. (The gun is black with smoke)
The stock is broken and has a poor repair, but the receiver and barrels look good as far as I can tell.
I can get it for $600.00, as a project I would re-finish, and I would find someone who still does the black/white refinish on Damascus.
What do you guys think?
