Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
John D.

To refinish or not.
In my last entry under new members- Parker PH assessment- Jack & Erick pointing out some deficiencies of the unit and I'm greatfull to them.
My current question is- is this gun worth the effort of refinishing it as it stands today and would it be recommended or should one just leave it alone?
If so, does anyone have any information of any websites that one might look that could rovide some detailed proceedures as to the process? I'm not above a reasonable challenge, but wouldn't want to do further harm
Elmer

Elmer: As a first guide, check this entry in FAQ's. I do not know of anyone in Canada doing full and proper restorations but there are a few in the US that are often mentioned on the forum. There is an awful lot of red tape to get a gun into the US. If you chose that route, be prepared for a lengthy process to have a great looking gun come home to you. Others can give you an idea of costs involved to "do it right".
Cheers,
Jack
