A weak or broken trip spring or gummed up oil slowing up the works is usually the issue ,or even a worn trip fairly easy parts to get and switch out

My experience tells me that the action is looking for an ultra sonic cleaning. I have taken many Parker action apart to submerge all of the parts in a ultra sonic solution for cleaning, you will be surprised on the amount of SKUD that gets removed. Then a light coat of oil ,reassemble,---- it solves a lot of problems. Just my opinion. If you do not own an ultra sonic cleaner, have a good gunsmith do it for you. Allan |
