Parkers were special ordered by weight. The frame size was determined by Parker Brothers and could be two or more frame sizes on a heavy 20 gauge. I'm not sure all the Widgeon Club guns were made on the same frame size. Josh, buy that gun.

One would suppose the appeal of a 2-frame 20 today is its rarity, what do suppose the appeal of one of these was back in the day when they could be ordered new?

That's a logical answer, but wouldn't a 10, 12 or even an 8 have been a more logical choice for yesteryear's meat hunter?

I would doubt the members of the Wigeon club and those who shared such thoughts - would take kindly to that moniker

nor would it fit those who currently shoot such guns in the marshes
